Health and Physical Education
The Health and Physical Education (HPE) department strives to empower our students to develop positive habits and attitudes through building confidence, perseverance, the joy of movement, a balanced lifestyle, and effective social skills. Our curricular strands of character development, physical literacy and health literacy demonstrate the focus we have on personal and physical development.
HPE promotes inclusive physical activities that are reflective of individual needs and abilities, while encouraging healthy behaviours and positive relationships. HPE fosters personal growth and development by creating a safe, supportive environment and providing meaningful, authentic learning experiences to cultivate an appreciation for physical activity and wellbeing that will last a lifetime.
