Guidance and University Counselling
The Guidance & University Counselling Departments are integral parts of Canadian International School of Hong Kong. Counsellors in both of these departments take a proactive, child-centred, and developmental approach in working with students, parents, and teachers. Our Guidance counsellors teach character education lessons, provide individual and family counselling, facilitate small group workshops for students, lead parent coffees and coordinate student services in the school. The University Counselling Department specifically focuses on working with students and families on building their child's university application portfolio and guiding them through the critical application processes.
The Guidance & University Counselling Departments are comprised of two Lower School counsellors, five Upper School Guidance counsellors and three University counsellors.
