Sustainability is a pillar that CDNIS considers in all of the strategic planning both short and long term. In all decisions related to the environment, social aspects and/or financial interest, we strive for balance, to be innovative, and to push our pursuit to make CDNIS a community of changemakers.
Our school community has spent time reflecting on what we can do better for a sustainable future.
Our Education for Sustainable Development Report highlights the ways in which everyone at CDNIS is working towards that common goal and provides an overview of significant environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts for CDNIS. The Environmental Sustainablity Report highlights what our community is doing to engage locally and globally on sustainable development issues.
Hong Kong awards for environmental excellence
CDNIS is honoured to once again be recognized by the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence. The school was awarded the Silver Award (Secondary) and Certificate of Merit (Primary) for its on-going sustainability initiatives.

The alliance for sustainable schools | founding member
CDNIS is a founding member of The Alliance for Sustainable Schools. As one of the leading sustainable schools in Hong Kong – one of the first schools in Hong Kong to install solar panels and publish an ESG report – we are honoured to be part of a growing network of schools around the world that share a commitment to being sustainable.
