The CDNIS Early Years Centre, located in THE SOUTHSIDE, is home to our youngest learners in Nursery and Early Years 1. It is a warm, joyful space designed specifically for early childhood education, where children feel safe, curious and excited to learn.
Half-Day, Bilingual Programme
Our half‑day, bilingual (English and Mandarin) Early Years Programme takes place within our beautiful, child‑friendly campus. Every aspect of the environment is intentionally designed to support exploration, independence and early language development.
Through CDNIS’s dual‑language immersion model, students learn and interact naturally in both English and Mandarin. Our experienced and highly qualified educators create a developmentally appropriate, student‑centred learning environment where each child’s receptive and expressive language skills can flourish.
The bilingual model provides a balanced English and Mandarin learning experience each day, with specialist educators leading dedicated learning experiences in both languages. Children also participate in daily Music and Movement sessions.
How Children Learn
Our Early Years approach is rooted in purposeful play and inquiry‑rich learning that nurtures the whole child - socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Children move fluidly between thoughtfully designed spaces, engaging in a balance of child‑initiated play and teacher‑guided experiences.
This approach gives children the confidence to explore, ask questions, make choices, and develop the foundational skills that support their growth as learners within the IB Primary Years Programme and beyond.
