The arts are all around us. They bring us together through shared experiences and they colour our lives with the beauty of human expression.
Throughout our entire visual and performing arts programme, we are driven by a passion for creativity and curiosity, helping our students to develop the way they view, think and feel about the world we share.
Our team of highly experienced teachers all share a passion for nurturing our students to be the best they can be, with numerous opportunities to showcase their work around school and in local venues. These include exhibitions, concerts, productions and arts festivals throughout the year. The arts encourage each and every one of us to work in a creative, supportive and collaborative way and our programme design and delivery reflects this every day.
Local and International Artists in Residence
Our students also benefit from a rich Artist in Residence Programme that brings local and international professionals in the arts industry to inspire our students and ignite their imagination.
World Class Facilities
Our students create and share their work in world class facilities that include a 604-seat professional grade theatre, blackbox theatre, dance studio, visual art studios and music rooms galore.
The Benefits of our Arts Programme
From Early Years to Grade 12, CDNIS students create and connect across time and place, developing the skills and awareness to express themselves as creative, resourceful, compassionate, confident and thoughtful individuals.
