The Jockey Club Scholarship is an annual award donated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The scholarship will be presented to three Grade 11 students who will be completing Grade 11 in June of the year of application and attending CDNIS in their graduating year. The selection will be made by the Jockey Club Scholarship Committee which comprises of a Representative of the Board of Governors, the Upper School Principal and Vice Principal, along with input from the Upper School teaching staff. The scholarship will be the Tuition Fee for their Gr 12 academic year and includes the coverage of a Jockey Club debenture. The scholarship winner must be willing to receive the award in public and be prepared for the publicity surrounding the award, including expressing their appreciation to the Jockey Club.
Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Brown University are offering book awards.
Prospective candidates should pick up the scholarship/book award application forms from the Guidance Secretary (Ms Fung) in the Guidance Office (Room 510). The forms will be available in late February/early March. Please direct all questions to Ms Joy Harris-Lowe in Room 611A.
