Artist in Residence: Frantic AssemblyThe UK based Physical Theatre company spent a week with Gr 9-11 students teaching them the skills and techniques necessary to communicate in a physical language on stage.
SEAMC Math CompetitionCDNIS was one of the hosts of the SEAMC Math competition here in Hong Kong. The CDNIS team placed 9th out of 40 school teams, with one of our students, Nathaniel Peza (second from the left) finishing second in the individual competition.
Expert Speaker Series: Kath MurdochEducational Consultant Kath Murdoch spent the week at CDNIS helping our teachers implement more effective inquiry based learning across the Lower School.
SEASAC Swim MeetCDNIS was the proud host of the recent SEASAC Swim Meet with our swim teams achieving their best results ever - 3rd strongest school in South East Asia, 12 gold medals and three banners!

Artist in Residence: Chen Sumei and Xue Nianxian from Cecilia Arts in TaiwanUpper School students experienced traditional Chinese Fabric Art workshops during our Chinese New Year celebrations. In addition, Cecilia Chan's Chinese Fabric exhibition was on display for the entire community to enjoy.

University Outreach: Canadian College TourOur newest Upper School guidance counsellor accompanied students to Canada to foster relationships with the universities on the tour.
Artist in Residence: Mark HillGrade 10 Drama students got a deeper understanding of how to communicate with their bodies rather than text as they explored new ways of moving with Mark Hill, an Artist in Residence who specialises in the Japanese performance traditions Butoh and Suzuki.

ISTA Festival for DP Theatre Students (Oct 2014)The Annual Fund subsidized the registration fee for the DP Theatre students to attend the ISTA Festival. The festival was an energising three day collaborative process that included workshops and masterclasses with experts, a theatre visit and a talk led by a theatre practitioner who works for an NGO in Africa.
