WELCOME MESSAGES

On behalf of the Board of Governors, I warmly welcome you to Canadian International School of Hong Kong's website. Please take your time reading the pages of our website as you learn about our school, the curriculum and the people that make us the leading international school in Hong Kong.
Members of the Board are prominent members of the Hong Kong community and who are active contributors to the school on a voluntary basis. The role of the Board is to primarily uphold the school's high standards and oversee the development of all academic activities. However, we also maintain wonderful social relations with the school and make sure we take part in a variety of the events that take place at the school.
All aspects of our school community epitomize care and support, not least because generosity and voluntary commitment is key to the school's development and success. As a non-profit organization, CDNIS always looks at investing its funds towards enhancing the quality of facilities, resources and education provided to its students.
We recruit teachers from around the world who embrace our curriculum and always work hard to enhance and improve our programmes. Our students graduate with both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Our mission is to develop responsible global citizens and leaders through academic excellence and I'm confident our curriculum best prepares students for our rapidly globalizing world.
We want our students to be leaders – leaders with respect and knowledge, who strive to fulfill their potential and make a difference in today's global society. As Governors, we are always mindful of the need to look closely at the future and to maintain the very high standards that have been achieved. We strive to give our students the best start in life and endeavor to become the best education provider in Asia.
Anthony Chow
Chairman, Board of Governors
