About Us - People at CDNIS
STUDENTS

The school operates a "through train" system , meaning students can complete their entire primary and secondary school education at the same institution. CDNIS is divided into two schools, each with its own identity and characteristics, giving students unique experiences during their "through-train" ride. The Lower School ranges from Pre-Reception (age 3) to Grade 6 (age 12-13). The Upper School ranges from Grade 7 (age 12-13) to Grade 12(age 17-18).
The student population contains a diverse mix of cultures with over 40 nationalities represented. The largest segment is comprised of Canadian passport holders. There are also a significant number of British, American and Australian students. The remainder come from countries far and wide, as is the norm for a truly international city like Hong Kong.
Other nationalalities include Chinese, Dutch, French, Indian, Japanese, New Zealander, South African, to list only a few.
