CDNIS is an enjoyable place to be, both from the perspective of the students, the teachers and the school community at large. The school promotes a set of values to students that encourages them to respect and care for themselves and for others. A friendly and clean environment also provides them with a sense of belonging and social responsibility.

• BOARD OF GOVERNORS

  
  The school is operated as a private, non-profit charitable organization under the direction of a volunteer board of governors who have close connections to the school.

• TEACHING STAFF

  
  The school currently has over 130 teaching staff with an additional 40 classroom assistants. These educators come from diverse cultures. However, approximately 70 per cent of them have Canadian teaching credentials.

  The school employs 50 full-time business and operations staff, who are responsible for finance, administration, facilities management, enrollment and marketing of CDNIS.

  The present student population is over 1,850. There are over 40 nationalities represented with a majority being Canadians of Chinese heritage.
