RECRUITMENT PROCESS

TEACHING FACULTY

Qualified and experienced teachers are encouraged to submit their application to our Head of School, Mr. Dave McMaster, at jobs@cdnis.edu.hk. Your application should include a covering letter, a detailed résumé, and the names and contact information of three references. Our teacher recruitment season starts mid-December for teaching posts starting in August of the following academic year.

Teaching posts are normally advertised in the following media:
  • The Globe and Mail (Canada) / The Toronto Star (Canada)
  • South China Morning Post (Hong Kong)
  • Professionally Speaking magazine (Ontario, Canada)
  • Teacher’s College magazine (BC, Canada)

  • CDNIS website
  • Recruitment fair agents (Search Associates, Council of International Schools and Queen’s University Teachers’ Overseas Recruitment Fair)

CDNIS is often at the following recruitment fairs:
  • Search Associates Recruitment Fair in Bangkok
  • International Schools Services (ISS) Bangkok Recruitment Centre
  • Council of International Schools (CIS) London Recruitment Centre
  • Queen’s Teachers’ Overseas Recruitment Fair

Faculty Requirement

Minimum requirements for teaching positions:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Teaching qualification
  • At least two years relevant teaching experience
  • IB training and experience are considered an asset
  • Demonstrated use of technology in teaching practice

SUPPORT STAFF

Experienced administrative staff are encouraged to submit their application to our Human Resources Department, at jobs@cdnis.edu.hk. Your application should include a covering letter, a detailed résumé, the names and contact information of three references. Our support staff (Business and Operations staff) recruitment occurs throughout the year.

Support staff vacancies are normally advertised in the South China Morning Post and on the CDNIS website.
